Lydia Update

She is still hospitalized. She has been admitted since July 19th, so she has been an inpatient for over two months now. We have been in Cincinnati for nearly three months total.

She seems to be doing better with pain, but she still has her moments. They seem to be controlling it a little better.

The biopsy came back and was inconclusive. They are going to try to get further testing. They really don’t know what it is.

Her head wound from surgery is still healing, but it turned some really gnarly colors (including black) after the procedure. She has some necrotic tissue and they may have to go back in to debride the dead tissue. It was infected and they have her on IV antibiotics.

We are having a care conference with all of her doctors on Monday at noon. Hopefully we will have a plan after this.
