I am praying for this situation at FSU this noon, kind of shocked that it happened a couple of hours after we had a shooter drill in our building! Those are always unexpected and scary, even knowing they are not real!

I relearned a lesson today to pray specifically to God. On the way to work I poured out my heart to Him because I was seeing a lack of unity on our team, fueled by inexperience, too much time discussing Netflix series, and maybe a lack of care about how each contribution does or does not support the rest of the team. I am about to inherit a second team to support so I was truly concerned. I asked God to help me today and . . . He sent an expert from another base to give us a gripping, hour long history lesson on our field of endeavor and why it matters! I was shouting with joy inside by the time this young man finished. He gave both of my teams (and another team besides) a huge motivational shot in the arm! Praises!
