I noticed the word “yeshua-te” in the first line and it means salvation. Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus!

On a podcast the other day, I heard a really cool play on words we miss in English. Yeshua/Jesus is a version of the word “salvation.” So when Jesus said to Zacchaeus “Today salvation has come to the house of Zacchaeus” guess Who He meant? Great, isn’t it?

I feel such love for these children of Abraham as we watch history trying to repeat itself in their perpetual persecution by the countries in which they dispersed.

The same people who want to eradicate the nation of Israel don’t want to welcome the Jews anywhere else either. We have not come too far from the end of World War II, which is so disappointing.

I find it beyond strange that universities will listen anytime a minority feels threatened (as they should) unless that minority is Jewish. Then they decide the person or people are “exaggerating” (I guess the world assumes Jews are lying unless they can prove otherwise, which is a terrible assumption to make about people whom God has set aside as special to Him and His history timeline).

So the Jewish students, who are also paying upwards of $50,000 a year to go to an Ivy League university, are “only” verbally abused and blocked on the sidewalks from going to class. When do the administrators think it would be appropriate to act? When HAMAS decides to reinstitute Hitler’s ovens?

I understand the fear of these precious young people. Jesus is their answer, too. And obeying God’s command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
