Doris Lee, wife of Paul Lee, passed away on Mother’s Day joining her beloved husband in heaven. She had resided in Beth Shalom Nursing Home while suffering with dementia. Her three daughters faithfully cared for her during her illness that began over 14 years ago. Brother Paul was one of the longest standing members of TBC joining the church in 1968 and serving many years as a deacon. Even when his dear Doris often did not know him because of her condition, he still visited every day his sweetheart whom he affectionately called “the Lee woman.” The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Kempsville Road in Chesapeake on Wednesday, May15, 2024 beginning at noon. A memorial service will follow at 1pm at Graham.
