As a retired military person who will turn 65 next summer, my question is whether I need to pay for any Medicare supplements outside of paying off my Tricare, which will convert to Tricare for Life (and be free) on my 65th birthday. I understand that Tricare for life serves as an acceptable Medicare supplement for both medical and pharmacy.
The other things we sometimes pay for separately (dental and vision) are covered by my current employer. And Tricare itself covers some vision stuff, just not a lot.
So what have those of you who retired from the military found as you roll over to Tricare for Life? Noel is an expert on most financial matters but he does not write medical insurance.
Thanks, everyone. Another great thing about Connect is not all answers have to be typed out on here. :-)
I have medicare a not b, the VA pays for the rest.
